Zeba Bakhtiar is a popular Pakistani film and television actress, and television director who has worked in the numbers of Bollywood and Urdu films. Zeba Bakhtiar film “Laal Kabootar” was selected in Oscar. She was born on 5th November 1962 in Quetta, Baluchistan, Pakistan. Bakhtiar’s father was the former attorney general and a layer, Yahya Bakhtiar. Her father belongs to an ethnic Pashtun family from Quetta, whereas her mother is a Magyar or Hungarian. In 1993, Bakhtiar got married to a popular Pakistani singer Adnan Sami Khan. From which she has a son, Azaan. But the couple got divorced in 1997. She took custody of her son.

Zeba Bakhtiar began her screen career with the television
debut in 1988, with the Pakistan Television Corporation drama serial “Anarkali”
which was aired on PTV. The drama is the classical story of the Mughal emperor.
After this drama, she has played very versatile roles in numerous Pakistani
classical dramas such as her very famous horror drama is “Muqaddas” in 1996.
This is the story of a hunted girl who lives with her parents near the forest.

Zaiba started her film career from the Bollywood hit
movie “Hinna” opposite a veteran Indian Star Rishi Kapoor and Ashwini Bhave in 1991. In this film, Bakhtiyar
played the lead and title role. The film is a very interesting love story of an
Indian rich guy who mistakenly crosses the border in his engagement day, and
falls in love with a Kashmiri girl, Henna during the Indian-Pakistan
controversial tensions on Kashmir. The film got huge critical and commercial
acclamation from both countries and was the box office hit movie.
Whereas, she appeared the first time in the Lollywood
after her retiring back from India in 1995. She played another super hit
Pakistani musical Urdu film “Sargam” under the direction of Syed Noor and
starring with the Pakistani singer and her ex-husband Adnan Sami. It was the
first and last appearance of Adnan Sami in any Pakistani film. The film is
highly acclaimed by the peoples and was box office super hit. After this film
both the stars got married to each other. It was Zaba’s second huge success in
her career. After this film, she played in the number of Pakistani films.
Zaba has also produced a Lollywood highly acclaimed
Sheikh first spy action thriller movie of Pakistan “Operation 21”. The film was
starring Shaan Shahid and Aamina Sheikh as a lead role. The film
was widely praised by critics and the audience and has earned an international
award for the lead actress Aamina sheikh. The film revolves around the
operation of 21 hours to save the two countries (Afghanistan and Pakistan) from
turmoil.
Her very recent Lollywood debut was a romantic
film “Bin Roye” in 2015 as the role of Saba’s mother alongside Mahira Khan, Armeena Rana Khan and Humayun Saeed. The film based on Farhat
Ishtiaq’s novel Bin Roye Aansu. The film is the love story of a charming
crazy girl who loves her cousin since her childhood but her cousin falls in
love with her elder sister. After acting in the film, she also acted in the
drama with the same name.
The beautiful actress has ruled over the Asian people for a long time. She has acted in two super hit movies in India as well in Pakistan. She has also the winner of the Nigar Award for the Best Actress in her first performance in Lollywood film “Sargam” in 1996. Her film “Laal Kabootar” has the honor of selection in the international Oscar Award.
